Nutrition is a big deal at Courtenay Elementary School. The school’s kitchen co-ordinator whips up fantastic snacks and meals for any student who feels hungry. A local realtor, who wishes to remain anonymous, recently donated $2,000 to the Courtenay Elementary Community School Society to support the school’s meal program. Executive director Shawn Thir presented principal Albert Johnson (left) with the cheque to ensure that those snacks and meals keep on coming! We are grateful for this generous donation!
