The Courtenay Elementary Community School Society continued its “Coffee in the Garden” event on May 16.
The purpose of event is simple: Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in the morning after sending your kids off to school and mingle with other parents in the beautiful morning sunshine. The weather this time was perfect–overcast with the sun peeking out from time to time–perfect for holding a hot drink in one’s hands.
CECSS plans to hold this event every Thursday, rain or shine. Coffee in the garden is ready at 8 AM on Thursdays and usually runs until just before recess at 10 AM.
