CECSS held its second “Chill in the Garden” on Tuesday the 11th. This time, the weather was hot– perfect for sitting in the shade with a cold drink.
CECSS served up iced coffee, iced tea, lemonade, and mango-lemon infused water. There was plenty to go around and the 23 parents who showed up were grateful for the relief from the heat.
It looked like much of it might go to waste, but once school was out at 2:30 the kids descended on the drinks and finished everything off.
The next Chill in the Garden will be on Tuesday the 18th.
