The Courtenay Elementary Community School Society holds badminton every Thursday afternoon after school for Gr. 3-5 students. It just so happens that gymnastics equipment had been set up for the week.
So, when the kids were told that they would’t be playing badminton today, they squealed with delight, knowing that it meant they had all of the equipment to themselves for an hour.
We’ll try to play badminton next week, but won’t complain if the gymnastics equipment is still set up in the gym.
